COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS

The Harmony Community Connection is a program that strives to help ease the transition for Harmony graduates from the inpatient program back into the community in which they live.

Generally, the Harmony Community Connection program provides an essential link between treatment and recovery. The client’s Primary Counselor matches each graduate leaving Harmony with a Harmony alumni living in the graduate's community who has more than a year of sobriety and connection to the recovery community in that area.

The alumni will:

  • Make themselves available by telephone before the individual graduates Harmony
  • Take the graduate to various 12-Step meetings in the area
  • Introduce the graduate to others in the recovery community
  • Explain the benefits of sponsorship and home groups
  • Share their experience, strength and hope and especially the tools they found useful when they transitioned from Harmony

If you are an alumni of Harmony and you have more than one year of continuous sobriety and are interested in sharing your experience , strength and hope, please fill out the attached Application Form.

If you have any questions, please call Keith Burkholder CACIII, Continuing Care Counselor and Community Connections Coordinator, 970-577-3172 or email at kburkholder@harmonyfoundationinc.com.

SOBER LIVING RESOURCES

Many find that it is not only helpful, but often essential for them to live among other sober individuals during the early stages of their recovery from alcoholism or drug addiction.  Listed below are some resource links for sober living.

The Serenity House

The Serenity Houses provide a structured living environment for people with alcohol or drug dependency problems.  12-step meetings are provided in-house and all residents are expected to follow the house guidelines.  There is also plenty of community support and many healthy activities in the surrounding area.  Loveland, Colorado is an ideal location to travel the road to recovery.

Sober Living in Delray

Sober Living in Delray has, for more that a decade, established itself as the premiere recovery residence in the South Florida area.  We provide a safe, clean, supportive environment for individuals in early sobriety who are not quite ready to live completely on their own. Our residential rules and quidelines provide a necessary sense of structure and community, along with a flexible amount of personal freedom.

Sober.com

Sober.com is committed to maintaining equality and accepts advertising for products and services targeting the addictions recovery and sober community, while not endorsing them. We are committed to providing help for those in need of drug rehab programs, alcoholism treatment and substance abuse services with the most accurate information available.
