Nursing/Medical Services
Harmony Foundation takes great pride in the quality of nursing/medical care that we provide for our clients. We are licensed by the State of Colorado to provide medical detoxification. Our Medical Director is certified by the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) as an addictionologist. Our nursing staff is available 24 hours a day to assist clients with any medical needs.
Each client receives a physical examination, including comprehensive laboratory tests, and meets with the Medical Director regarding these results. To provide for the best possible care, our medical staff may at times consult with a client's healthcare providers – physician, psychiatrist, or therapist – to discuss treatment issues. We also offer the services of our consulting psychologist or psychiatrist when clinically indicated.
Chronic Pain is also an important issue. We will help you with your chronic pain. However, not by continuing your narcotics since we are an abstinence based drug and alcohol rehabilitation center. Through the use of non-narcotics such as Lidoderm, Gabapentin, Celebrex and other medical options we have successfully helped previous clients break the cycle of chronic pain.
