We have the following opportunity available. We have two full time (36 hours a week) and one occasional position (as needed) available that would cover as needed for day or evening shifts to cover illnesses, vacation, and holidays. Primary Function: Assist the licensed nurse with all areas of physical and emotional aspects of chemically dependent clients.

Supervision: Supervised by the Director of Nursing, Nursing Coordinator

Essential Functions:

  1. Assess and chart client’s vital signs, physical and emotional state by following instructions and reporting abnormalities to nurse in a timely manner.
  2. Provide appropriate care in case of emergencies.
  3. Report observations and conditions for detox period.
  4. Attend 75% of nursing department meetings.
  5. Willingness to work different shifts as needed.
  6. Ability to accurately complete documentation.
  7. Ability to work as a team member.
  8. Assist nursing staff in admission (vitals, UA specimens, etc.) and discharge process.
  9. Assist with transcription of physician’s orders and chart checks
  10. Maintain inventory of stock medication and medical supplies.
  11. Prepare for and assist with blood draws.
  12. Help with client cabin clearance and room assignments.
  13. Transport clients to and from medical appointments.
  14. Must have outstanding ethics and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  15. Other duties as required/assigned within the scope of practice.

       

Minimum Requirements:

Level I:

  1. 6 months experience at Harmony or phlebotomist experience or CNA certification or unit secretary experience or EMT or EMT-P experience.
  2. Current CPR certification.
  3. Current 1st Aid certification.
  4. Physical and emotional health adequate to perform duties.
  5. Valid Colorado driver’s license and eligible for coverage by Harmony Foundation insurance carrier.
  6. If recovering from chemical dependency, prefer a minimum of two years continuous sobriety upon hire.
  7. Fluency in spoken and written English.


Level II: All of the above requirements plus:

  1. Must be in compliance with all certification regulations and law.
  2. Certified Nursing Assistant certification or RMA certification
    or
  3. 6 months experience in the medical field and knowledge of medical terminology
    or
  4. Phlebotomy certified
    or
  5. 6 months experience transcribing physician’s orders and obtaining co-signature.


Level III: All of the requirements for level one plus:

  1. Must be in compliance with all certification regulations and law.
  2. Certified Nursing Assistant certification or RMA certification
  3. 1 year experience in the medical field.
  4. Phlebotomy certified and 1 year experience transcribing physician’s orders and obtaining co-signature.

 

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  1. Ability to relate with detachment, understanding, and empathy to chemically dependent clients.
  2. Willingness to gain knowledge and understanding of the disease concept and individual counseling procedures in the treatment of chemical dependency.
  3. Willingness to obtain basic knowledge of the emotional and physical aspects associated with chemical dependency.
  4. Personal maturity reflected by sound judgment and decision making abilities.
  5. Ability to function as a team member r of the nursing department.
  6. Ability to communicate effectively with all Harmony staff. Good written and verbal communication skills.

Primary Function: Responsible for all aspects of Accounts Receivable

Supervision: Supervised by the Director of Nursing, Nursing Coordinator

Essential Functions:

  1. Responsible for monthly posting of all accounts receivable items by the 7th work day of the following month.
  2. Responsible for posting of all NSF checks and fees, wire transfers and adjustments.
  3. Responsible for monthly reconciliation of Accounts Receivable to the General Ledger.
  4. Responsible for accurate daily receipting for deposit of all checks, credit cards and cash.
  5. Responsible for accurate reflection of client balances on statement and sending of statements by the 15th work day of each month.
  6. Responsible for posting of bad debt receipts and sending bad debt statements by the last day of each month.
  7. Report of deposits month to date.
  8. Responsible for updating Partial Hospitalization Spreadsheet for use in reconciling and posting client days.
  9. Reconcile client billable days to Overnight Billing Report from TIER for posting to client account.
  10. Completion of Client Payer Mix Schedule monthly for use in cash planning.
  11. Responsible for posting of all self-pay and insurance discounts. added
  12. Completion of Discount Percentage Analysis for Insurance discounts.
  13. Balance front office transactions daily.
  14. Responsible for handling and tracking petty cash transactions.
  15. Completion of Promissory Note Break-down Spreadsheet monthly.
  16. Assist with Accounts Payable as needed.
  17. Special projects and additional tasks as assigned.
  18. All collections work of past due accounts in a professional manner and timely basis. Sending accounts to Collections (Green Flag I and/or II) after review with Controller.
  19. Handling of all client calls with any questions, phone payments, etc. in a professional manner and timely basis.
  20. Calling of clients, as needed, for payment.
  21. Research and resolve any problems of accounts. Pulling of charts as needed for refunds, write offs and adjustments. Then given to Controller for approval.
  22. Setting up new ACH payments and processing Monthly (20th) through the bank. Update as needed a spreadsheet to show said payments and list of accounts on ACH for easy access to anyone in our department.
  23. Processing and recording of all monthly credit card payments for clients set up for automatic pay. Build and updated as needed a spreadsheet to show said payments and list of accounts on CC payments for easy access to anyone in our department.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Knowledge of office procedures and basic bookkeeping. Accounts Receivable experience preferred.
  2. One year general computer experience including Windows and Excel.
  3. Basic typing skills, adequate to prepare materials accurately.
  4. Physical and emotional health adequate to perform all job functions.
  5. If recovering from chemical dependency, prefer a minimum of two years continuous sobriety upon hire.
  6. Fluency in spoken and written English.

Primary Function: Help monitor client care and coordinate client care between Counseling and Nursing/Medical Staff. Assess and monitor physical and emotional aspects of chemically dependent clients. Responsible for resolution of daily client issues.

Supervision: Supervised by the Director of Nursing & Assistant Dir. of Nursing

Essential Functions:

  1. Ensure integration and coordination of treatment efforts with the Counseling Staff, Medical Director, Nurse Practitioners and Dietitian to facilitate and ensure optimal care of clients.
  2. Attend CCT and weekly treatment plan reviews.
  3. Review counseling team emails, counseling team/tech reports and nurses client reports daily and be prepared at CCT with answers to questions.
  4. Communicate throughout the day with Director of Counseling Services and/or Counselor on Call regarding client care.
  5. Assist with scheduling clients to see Nurse Practitioner for sick call, discharge conference for medication review.
  6. Liaison with cooperating community medical services.
  7. Work nursing shifts when needed and perform essential functions of a nursing department member.
  8. Maintain standards of confidentiality and ethics.
  9. Attend safety meetings.
  10. Review client variances.
  11. Acts as backup for Medical Record Review.
  12. Attend PIC meeting.
  13. Other duties as required/assigned.

       

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Current Colorado RN or LPN license. Must be in compliance with all licensing regulations and laws.
  2. Current CPR certification.
  3. Current 1st Aid certification.
  4. Five years nursing experience.
  5. Experience in treatment of chemical dependency preferred.
  6. Physical and emotional health adequate to perform duties.
  7. Valid Colorado driver’s license and eligible for coverage by Harmony Foundation’s insurance carrier.
  8. If recovering from chemical dependency, prefer a minimum of two years continuous sobriety upon hire.
  9. Fluency in spoken and written English.

  1. Monitor and document client’s vital signs, TPR BP (sit and stand while in detox) pain, pulse ox, physical and emotional state and report abnormalities in a timely manner.
  2. Provide appropriate care in case of emergencies.
  3. Chart observations and conditions for detox period.
  4. Ability to accurately complete documentation and chart checks
  5. Perform admission nursing assessment and review admit form.
  6. Create medical treatment plans based on assessment of medical needs.
  7. Complete weekly reviews. Assure compliance with treatment plan.
  8. Prepare for and/or perform venipuncture (must be phlebotomy certified).
  9. Maintain inventory of stock medication, prescription refills and medical supplies.
  10. Administer and account for medication following Harmony Procedures.
  11. Obtain, carry out, and authenticate physician orders.
  12. Attend 75% of nursing department meetings.
  13. Willingness to work different shifts as needed.
  14. Ability to work as a team member.
  15. Must have outstanding ethics and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  16. Organize and prioritize shift duties in facility.
  17. Attend and participate staff meetings with counselors and nursing staff.
  18. Review daily census and assure accuracy.
  19. Procedure for preparing clients for discharge.

      

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Current Colorado LPN nursing license. Must be in compliance with all licensing regulations and laws.
  2. Current 1st Aid certification
  3. Current CPR certification.
  4. Phlebotomy certification
  5. One year medical/surgical experience.
  6. Physical and emotional health adequate to perform duties.
  7. Valid Colorado driver’s license and eligible for coverage by Harmony
  8. Foundation’s insurance carrier.
  9. If recovering from chemical dependency, prefer a minimum of two years continuous sobriety upon hire.
  10. Fluency in spoken and written English.

There is one position open to work 24 hours a week with our Male YART clients. Hours are Monday through Friday in the afternoons.

Primary Function: Serves as the primary educator for either the Men’s or Women’s Young Adult Recovery Track (YART) program.

Supervision: Director of Clinical Operations

Essential Functions:

  1. Presents Recovery Education material to YART clients on a daily basis based on Harmony curriculum.
  2. Meets with each YART client once a week for approximately half an hour to review their participation in YART Program and address any concerns the client is having with the materials presented.
  3. Completes individual notes in Tier for all presentations and interactions with clients.
  4. Attends men’s and women’s weekly staffing meetings to receive and present information that may be helpful in evaluating progress of client.
  5. Reviews current Recovery Education presentations on an ongoing basis for effectiveness and suggest appropriate changes to Director of Clinical Operations.
  6. Serves as backup to YART Counselor for opposite gender program to cover for PTO time.
  7. Available to take a group when a counselor is out of office for the day or a brief period of time – male and female clients.
  8. Other duties as assigned.

       

Minimum Requirements:

  1. CAC II certification or NAADAC equivalent.
  2. Two (2) years’ experience treating chemically-dependent individuals using individual and group counseling techniques.
  3. Experience working with young people in recovery (18 to 25 year olds) a definite plus.
  4. Physical and emotional health adequate to perform duties.
  5. Fluent in spoken and written English.
  6. If recovering from chemical dependency, prefer a minimum of three years continuous sobriety upon hire.

 

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  1. Proven ability to relate to chemically-dependent persons with both detachment and compassion.

The hours on this position are Friday through Tuesday from 10:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Primary Function: Assist in the maintenance of the entire property; and to provide a safe environment for students; assist with property maintenance, improvement and repair.

Supervision: Supervised by the Maintenance Supervisor or Director of Facilities

Essential Functions:

  1. Property maintenance/repair interior and exterior of the property; in particular:
    general landscaping: mowing, tree trimming.
  2. General maintenance: snow shoveling, plowing, painting.
  3. Other duties as assigned including night custodial and security responsibilities.
  4. Must have outstanding ethics and ability to maintain confidentiality.

       

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Six months experience in painting and landscaping.
  2. Physical and emotional health adequate to perform duties.
  3. Able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
  4. Hold a valid First Aid & CPR certification card (training provided).
  5. Valid driver’s license and eligible for coverage by Harmony Foundation insurance carrier.
  6. If recovering from chemical dependency, prefer a minimum of two years continuous sobriety upon hire.

 

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  1. Ability to operate equipment: automobiles, all lawn equipment, all snow removal equipment, and all power tools.
