Brief Residential Stay

In keeping with Harmony’s primary goal for our clients to attain a lifetime of abstinence from alcohol and drugs, we recognize the need for some clients to have the chance to re-focus and re-integrate into the recovery community.  Our Brief Residential Program is offered to our clients who have completed the 30 day residential program within the last 12 months.  Our program goals are to provide a safe place for the returning client to identify their relapse triggers, receive peer support and reintegrate into an ongoing support system within the community.  The focus of this program is for the client to complete a thorough review of the 1st step and be able to identify issues of powerlessness and unmanageability that have led to a relapse.

Requirements for admission to the Brief Residential Program are a personal interview with the Director of Clinical Operations and a commitment to 3-6 months of residential sober living.  Upon completion of the interview and agreement to attend sober living, the returning client will be referred to the Admissions Department for completion of the admission process.

Client’s participating in this program will be assigned an individual counselor, attend group sessions, individual sessions, recovery education groups and 12 step meetings.
